Music is a hobby of mine, I am not musically talented, but I love to listen.
This song by Hopewell came across my desk the other day. Unexpectedly, after a few moments of listening to it for the first time, I found tears flooding down my face. Why? What was the trigger?
While the power of music to bring up emotions never ceases to amaze me, I am rarely moved to tears over a song. While many songs move me and bring up issues or memories, I am not usually a sobby mess….really.
I have listened several times since, and while not sobbing anymore, it still hits a nerve. Maybe it is the wish to give….not a tree…but a life back.
